Just got a note today via the FashCon group - Evian (yes, the water people) have engaged RealSKIN to create six skins that they are giving away via an Evian vending machine in-world. I wrote a little marketing piece about it over on One Degree, but for those of you who are interested in the skins themselves, keep reading.
The set comes with 3 male and 3 female skins, in Caucasian, Black and Asian. RealSKIN also provides a shape for each, something I really like about RealSKIN. I did a little photo shoot with all the female skins and their shapes. Here we go ...
This is Katicus is one of her regular skins and her regular shape - the skin is from Gala, the shape is originally Colette and I've been modding it over time . Just so we have a benchmark.
These are pics of the Caucasian skin. Katicus' regular shape on the left; the provided shape on the right. Face is much thinner, nose a little more pointy and lips more bow-like. Cute.
These are the Black skins ... with Katicus' regular shape and provided "Black" shape. I would have liked a little more eyeliner on this makeup. Definitely looks better with the provided shape. I really like the lips on this makeup.
Finally, the Asian skin, again Katicus' regular shape on the left, provided shape on the right. This is my least favourite - but it could be because of my lighting. I don't see a lot of differences in the three shapes - but that could just be me. I would have liked a little more makeup on this particular skin.
All in all, though, AMAZING free skins - perfect for new avatars or older avatars who want an "entry-level" skin in a different race.
