Heading to BlogHer next week ... in Second Life!

I wasn't going to be able to make BlogHer this year, but I am THRILLED that they will be running a track  concurrently in SL, with unique sessions!  It's being led by the fabulous Queen Tureaud, aka Erin Kotecki Vest, contributing editor at BlogHer and of the Queen of Spain blog.

• The schedule for BlogHerSL has been posted!  NOTE: The times posted are Central Standard times (to coordinate with BlogHer in Chicago); SL time is 2 hours earlier (for those of us who live and die by the SL clock :)

BlogHer runs Friday, July 27 and Saturday, July 28.  There is a mixer on the evening of Thursday, July 26th as well!

Happy Canada Day ... celebrate with a House of Nyla original!

Even an avatar deserves a long weekend.  I was catching up on my SL Fashion feeds and noticed this from the Canada Day roundup over at Appearance Mode.

Nyla Cheeky, Canadian RL & SL designer of the House of Nyla, is having a 50% off sale.  Now, it's only at her Starax store, so I'm not sure the range that's over there.  But you can bet I will be checking it out!  She has also created some cute freebie T's so you can celebrate either you Canadian or American spirit.  Thanks, Nyla!
